Enable the blog add-on

A blog as the sole focus of your website.

You have things to say, and you just want somewhere to say it, then look no further. You can enable the blog and configure the settings so that your website visitors are directed to the blog homepage from the word go. The content of your blog is the forefront of your website, and the homepage will show off the list of latest blog posts, tags, and other widgets and content as you personalize the homepage.

To make your blog your homepage,

Meet in the manager of your website. Be sure that the blog is enabled. Go to Add-ons > Manage the add-ons. Enable the add-on titled Blog.
Go to Settings> Global Settings> Homepage and then choose the Blog add-on from the add-ons to use. The homepage of your site will be the blog index page, on which the last articles displayed. To learn more about this, we recommend you read the tutorial: make the blog the home page of your website.
Enable specific widgets from the Blog add-on in your menus. Makes navigation clear, so website visitors view your posts by tag or category or view the list of latest published articles (more information in the tutorial: integrate your blog)

A website with a blog as a compliment

You can enable the blog at any point of your website's activities.

Your website's function will not change but instead will have a blog as a compliment. As with the other add-ons, agenda, photos, contact, the blog will be integrated into your website.

To enable the blog:

Meet in the manager of your website. Be sure that the blog is enabled. Go to Add-ons > Manage the add-ons. Enable the add-on titled Blog.
Create the links that make your blog easy to find for your website visitors.
